Regular Session

The regular session of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, not exceeding four times monthly, shall be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday each week at the SP Session Hall unless otherwise decided to be held elsewhere by a majority of those present constituting a quorum: Provided, that when the pre-scheduled session falls on a holiday, the working day immediately following shall be the regular session day.

Special Session

As often as necessary, when public interest so demands, special sessions may be called by the City Mayor or by agreement of the majority of the Sanggunian members upon written notice stating the time, date and purpose of the session. Unless agreed upon by the majority vote of the members present constituting a quorum, no other matter shall be considered at a special session except those stated in the notice.
